Today we will discuss the immense importance of missionary work mentioned in the Bible. The center of our Christian life is the missionary work. Being a believer we must participate in this great work.
Jesus has instructed us to make all the nations of the world His disciples. This order is not just for a few people but it’s for all. When we engage ourselves in missionary work, we follow the path shown by Jesus and his disciples.
We need to pray regularly and study God’s Word to make ourselves qualified in missionary work. By these we can understand God’s will and obey His guidance. We need to be spiritually ready to engage ourselves in mission work.
Various obstacles come into our lives in this work. Cultural differences, along with linguistic differences and other oppositions we have to face. But we are delighted to know that God is with us at all times and He will guide us.
Mission work does not mean that we always have to go to another country. It may be our neighbors whom we can reach, which means that we should deliver the Gospel to the people around us. In this way, if we associate ourselves in missionary work, we can increase God’s kingdom.
Let’s look at the Bible’s scriptures below that talk about mission work.
